Kyrgyzstan, Saudi Arabia Sign Football Cooperation Agreement

In Jeddah, the Kyrgyz Football Union (KFU) and the Saudi Arabian Football Federation signed a memorandum of cooperation in football.

The agreement was signed by KFU President Kamchybek Tashiev and Saudi Arabian Football Federation President Yasser Al Misehal, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

The pact aims to develop football in Kyrgyzstan, adopt international best practices, and enhance the competitiveness of the national teams. In 2026-2027, friendly matches are planned between the women’s and youth teams of both countries.

The agreement also covers exchange of sports information, football management improvement, refereeing development, coach training, technical advancement, and the organization of competitions.

Tashiev is currently on an official visit to Saudi Arabia, attending U-23 Asian Cup matches in Jeddah.
