Kyrgyzstan Sees Sharp Rise in Wine Imports from Spain

Wine imports from Spain to Kyrgyzstan have risen sharply.

From January to August 2025, Kyrgyzstan imported 174,949 liters of Spanish wine, valued at 39.6 million soms, representing a 91 percent increase compared to the same period last year, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

During the same period in 2024, imports totaled 91,580 liters, worth 27 million soms.

In total, Kyrgyzstan imported 849,321 liters of wine during the first eight months of 2025.
