Kyrgyzstan Signs Deal with China to Receive 370 Units of Water Management Equipment

Kyrgyzstan has signed an agreement with the Chinese government for the delivery of 370 units of specialized equipment to support the Water Resources Service under the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.

According to the Ministry of Economy, the deal was concluded as part of ongoing technical and economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan’s Cabinet of Ministers and the Government of China, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kyrgyz media.

The equipment is expected to enhance the country’s capacity in managing and developing its water resources.

Under the agreement, the equipment will be handed over to the Water Resources Service. The total value of the project is 148.9 million yuan.

This will significantly strengthen the material and technical base of the service, facilitating the effective operation and maintenance of the country’s irrigation infrastructure.
