Kyrgyzstan, Turkiye Aim to Expand Cooperation in Civil Aviation

A meeting was held in Istanbul, between Trade Representative of Kyrgyzstan in Turkiye Chyngyz Toktobekov and the management of Kyrgyzstan Aeroportoru OJSC with Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of Turkish Airlines Ahmet Bolat.

The Ministry of Economy said that during the meeting, issues of developing air traffic between Kyrgyzstan and Turkiye, expanding cooperation and long-term plans were discussed, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kyrgyz media.

The parties also exchanged views on the modernization of Kyrgyzstan's airport infrastructure, improving the quality of passenger service and joint projects aimed at developing the tourism and business sectors of the two countries.

Kyrgyzstan Aeroporttoru OJSC expressed interest in deepening cooperation with the largest Turkish airlines. It is expected that this will have a positive impact on the country's aviation industry and will contribute to the expansion of Kyrgyzstan's international transport capabilities.
