Kyrgyzstan's Osh city has unveiled a new modern flower market, giving vendors and residents a more comfortable and organized space in the heart of the city.
The market is located near the Osh National Drama Theater and has been designed to meet modern urban standards, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
The new glass-structured pavilion offers improved conditions for flower sellers, providing protection from the weather and better amenities for daily trade.
Mayor Zhenishbek Toktorbaev ordered the relocation of flower stalls previously operating along Kurmanjan Datka Street. City officials said the move was aimed at improving the urban environment while creating more convenient and orderly conditions for vendors.
Following the dismantling of the old stalls, the surrounding area was fully cleared, contributing to a more open and visually appealing public space. City authorities say the new flower market is part of broader efforts to modernize Osh’s infrastructure and enhance comfort for both businesses and residents.
