Casualties Rise to Five in Russian Drone Strike on Poltava Gas Station

The number of people injured in Russia’s drone strike on a gas station in Ukraine’s Poltava region has increased to five.

The attack targeted a gas station in the district, The Caspian Post reports via Ukrainian media.

Among the wounded are a female gas station attendant, 34, and four truck drivers-two 50-year-old drivers, one 36-year-old driver and one 30-year-old driver-whose civilian vehicles were parked nearby. All five have been hospitalized.

Emergency services, including police, bomb disposal experts, Security Service personnel, rescuers, medical staff, utility workers, and volunteers, responded to the incident to ensure safety and assist the injured.

Earlier reports had initially confirmed four injuries in the strike.
