Iran is holding consultations with several Central Asian countries on the implementation of an agreement with the United States, Iranian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ali Mojtaba Rouzbehani told journalists.

He said the ceasefire agreement with the US has not yet been fully implemented, despite having been signed, with some of its provisions still unfulfilled, The Caspian Post reports, citing TASS.

According to Rouzbehani, the agreement was reached with the assistance of Pakistan, Qatar and Türkiye. He said its full implementation requires the US and the mediating countries to comply with their commitments.

“Pakistan is negotiating with our country on these issues, and we are holding consultation meetings with the Central Asian countries,” the ambassador said at a briefing at the Iranian Embassy.

Rouzbehani added that several Central Asian countries had expressed a willingness to help implement the agreement. However, he said the US leadership had not yet taken action and that Iran remained on alert against possible further military aggression by the US.
