Russian forces launched five missile strikes on Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia city, damaging warehouse facilities and vehicles.
Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, said that the attacks resulted in one fatality and two injuries, including a 43-year-old man currently in serious condition. Medical personnel are providing treatment to the victims, The Caspian Post informs via Ukrainian media.
This marks the second consecutive day of heavy aerial bombardment targeting the city. Recent attacks have struck civil infrastructure and residential buildings, igniting fires and causing widespread damage.
The escalation follows similar strikes on August 22, which left three people dead and caused significant property destruction.
Authorities have condemned the attacks as deliberate targeting of civilian areas amid ongoing Russian military actions.
