Russia has carried out an airstrike on the Saltivsky district of Kharkiv, Ukraine, using KAB-guided bombs.

The attack targeted a hospital, injuring at least six people, according to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, which confirmed the strike occurred around 9:50 p.m. (GMT+3), The Caspian Post informs via Ukrainian media.

Kharkiv Region Police said six patients inside the hospital were wounded during the strike. At the time, the facility was treating more than 100 patients, Oleksiy Dotsenko, head of the hospital’s surgical department, told Suspilne Kharkiv.

“Russia claims it does not target civilians, but are we not civilians?” questioned Svitlana Vodolazka, a hospital patient, in remarks to Suspilne Kharkiv.

Beyond the hospital, Kharkiv Region Governor Oleh Syniehubov reported significant damage to a dormitory, an enterprise, an educational building, a hospital building, a residential building, two non-residential structures, power lines, and 24 vehicles.
