Air Arabia has canceled some flights to Russia that were scheduled for October and December.
The cancellations were reportedly discovered by tour operators and travel agents after bookings for October flights were removed, according to Baza.
However, passengers were not initially notified directly by the airline and only received confirmation after contacting Air Arabia.
At the same time, tickets for flights to Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Ufa and Samara in October remained available for purchase on Air Arabia’s website.
The airline confirmed the cancellations and said that passengers who had already purchased tickets would receive refunds.
This is reportedly not the first time Air Arabia has canceled flights without advance notice. Passengers have previously reported learning about cancellations shortly before their scheduled departure.
