All thermal power plants (TPPs) operated by Ukraine’s state energy company Centrenergo have stopped generating electricity following a recent massive attack by Russian forces.
“This was the most massive strike on our TPPs since the start of the war. An unprecedented number of missiles and countless drones attacked the same plants that had been restored after the devastating assault of 2024,” the company said, The Caspian Post informs via Russian media.
Centrenergo urged an end to the attacks, stressing that its power stations are not military targets.
“Our stations are on fire! Our TPPs are not military facilities. We don’t produce weapons - civilians work here. We’ve stopped. Right now - zero generation. Zero! We have lost everything we worked around the clock to restore. Completely!” the company added.
