Russia's Voronezh region has come under an air attack reportedly carried out by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, leaving parts of the city briefly without power.
Voronezh Governor Alexander Gusev said that 14 drones were intercepted over the city and eight surrounding districts, along with one high-speed target shot down by air defense forces, The Caspian Post reports via the governor's message in Telegram.
Debris from the destroyed high-speed object fell on a local energy facility, causing short-term power outages in two city districts. Authorities confirmed that no casualties were reported.
Earlier, the city of Belgorod was struck by HIMARS rockets, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said. The attacks seriously damaged the city’s energy infrastructure, leading to disruptions in electricity, water supply, and heating for residents.
