At least three people have been killed and 18 others injured following a wave of Russian drone strikes targeting eastern regions of Ukraine.

The deadliest attack struck the city of Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region, where three civilians lost their lives and seven others were wounded. Officials reported significant damage to residential buildings, private homes, and vehicles, The Caspian Post reports via Ukrainian media.

In nearby Kryvyi Rih, separate strikes left multiple people injured, including a 10-year-old boy who was hospitalized.

Further north, drone attacks also hit Kharkiv. In the city of Kharkiv, at least seven civilians were injured in the Osnovianskyi district, including a 17-year-old girl. Emergency responders provided urgent medical care both on-site and in hospitals.

Additional strikes were reported in Bohodukhiv, where a gas station was hit, triggering a fire and damaging several vehicles. Three more people were hospitalized following the incident.

Nikopol remains a frequent target due to its location along the Dnipro River, near contested areas.

Emergency crews continue to work across the affected regions, clearing debris and assisting residents as the situation remains tense amid ongoing attacks on civilian infrastructure.
