Death Toll Rises to 38 After Attack on Ukraine's Ternopil

Serhii Ziubanenko, head of the Main Department of the National Police in Ukraine's Ternopil city, has said that the number of victims from the Russian attack on Ternopil rose to 38.

“Two more victims previously reported missing have been found. As of December 8, 38 people, including eight children, have died from the missile strike on Ternopil,” Zyubenko wrote on Facebook, The Caspian Post reports via Ukrainian media.

Three adults remain missing.

The attack on Ternopil involved drones and missiles, destroying several buildings. The Regional Military Administration reported elevated levels of harmful substances in the air near impact sites.
