Drone Strike Damages Magnit Store and Clinic Near Moscow

A drone struck a Magnit supermarket in Pavlovsky Posad in Russia’s Moscow region, while the blast wave damaged a nearby clinic, Moscow Region Governor Andrey Vorobyov said.

The incident occurred during a drone attack on the area in the morning. Vorobyov said that the blast shattered 46 windows in the clinic’s adult department, with two medical offices suffering the most significant damage, according to Life.

The clinic’s children’s department was not affected and the facility continues to operate normally and receive patients.

Only the physiotherapy department has been temporarily suspended.

Specialists are working at the site to clean the damaged premises, assess the impact and prepare for repairs. All damaged windows will be replaced as quickly as possible.

No casualties have been reported by the Moscow Region governor.

Magnit is one of Russia’s largest retail chains, primarily focused on food sales. The company operates several store formats and has its own logistics network, manufacturing facilities and digital services.
