A deadly strike has hit transport infrastructure in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region, leaving one person dead and another injured.
Regional administration head Ivan Fedorov said the attack took place early morning, with Russian forces using guided aerial bombs and strike drones. Explosions were reported across the region, as emergency services rushed to the scene, The Caspian Post reports via Ukrainian media.
Officials confirmed that transport infrastructure was directly targeted, with damage recorded shortly after the strikes.
The incident follows a massive wave of attacks just a day earlier, when more than 700 strikes were reported across Zaporizhzhia and nearby areas, causing additional casualties and widespread destruction.
Elsewhere in Ukraine, separate drone and missile attacks were reported in regions including Sumy and Kharkiv, where civilians were injured and residential buildings damaged.
Zaporizhzhia remains one of the hardest-hit areas, with repeated strikes on civilian infrastructure and key transport networks as the conflict continues.
