Grenade Blast in Russia's Podolsk Claims One Life

A man died after a grenade exploded in Podolsk, a suburb of Moscow, Russia.

The local resident was holding a grenade near a residential building on Yubileynaya Street when it detonated, The Caspian Post reports via Russian media.

The courtyard where the incident occurred has been cordoned off, and another grenade was reportedly found at the scene.

Earlier in January, five grenades were discovered on the Shelepikhinskaya Embankment in Moscow. A man found the explosives in an abandoned building; the grenades, with black pins, were contained in a black bag.

Authorities continue investigating the incidents, urging residents to report suspicious objects immediately.
