Three planes flying from Russia's capital Moscow have been unable to land in Bukhara and Termez, Uzbekistan, due to dense fog.
Flight HY9608 (Moscow-Bukhara) was diverted to the Navoi airport after visibility dropped to just 100 meters, The Caspian Post reports via Russian media.
Another flight on the same route, AFL1876, was redirected to Samarkand.
Additionally, the plane flying from Moscow to Termez (flight AZO7055) was forced to land at Samarkand due to the same adverse weather conditions.
Authorities emphasized that all diversions were made for passenger safety amid poor visibility caused by heavy fog.
