Uzbekistan Boosts Dried Apricot Exports to 56 Countries

Uzbekistan significantly boosted exports of dried apricots in January-November 2025, shipping 23,900 tons to 56 countries worldwide with total revenues reaching $45.8 million.

Compared to the same period last year, export volumes rose by 13,700 tons, marking a 2.4-fold increase, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

The sharp growth reflects both an expansion in export geography and steadily rising global demand for Uzbek dried apricots.

China emerged as the largest buyer during the reporting period, importing 5,500 tons of the product. Kazakhstan ranked second with 4,600 tons, followed closely by Türkiye at 4,100 tons.

Russia imported 1,800 tons of Uzbek dried apricots, while Ukraine accounted for 1,500 tons. The remaining countries collectively purchased around 6,500 tons, underscoring the growing international popularity of Uzbekistan’s dried fruit exports.
