Russia is continuing discussions with Telegram's leadership as authorities work to address ongoing access issues affecting the messaging platform, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

Speaking to journalists, Peskov confirmed that contacts between Russian officials and the company are continuing, but indicated that Telegram has so far shown limited involvement in the talks, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kommersant newspaper.

"Contacts are taking place, but there has not been much activity from the messenger's side so far," Peskov said.
