Mass Crash Involving 25 Vehicles Injures 6 in Russia's Penza

A major multi-vehicle crash has occurred in Russia’s Penza Region on the 271st kilometer of the Tambov-Penza highway.

According to preliminary reports, 25 vehicles collided amid difficult weather conditions, The Caspian Post reports via Russian media.

The regional Health Ministry confirmed that six people were injured, including one child. “Three of the injured were hospitalized in moderate condition,” the ministry said. The prosecutor’s office has launched an investigation into the incident.

Due to severe weather, temporary traffic restrictions have been imposed on the R-208 highway. Authorities уточнили that all vehicles are barred from the 265-278 km section until 5:00 p.m. on December 13 (GMT+3), as conditions remain hazardous.
