Putin to Visit India for High-Level Talks in December

Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay a state visit to India on December 4-5 at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The visit is significant as it will allow both sides to discuss the full spectrum of the Russia-India “Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership,” covering politics, trade, the economy, science and technology, and cultural cooperation, The Caspian Post informs via Russian media.

Key international and regional issues will also be high on the agenda during Putin’s talks with Modi.

The Kremlin confirmed that Putin will also hold a separate meeting with Indian President Droupadi Murmu.

Following the talks, the two countries are expected to issue a joint statement and sign several intergovernmental and commercial agreements.
