Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Friday that Russia is closely monitoring which countries supply weapons to Ukraine and grant Kyiv licenses for weapons production.

Peskov was responding to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s statement that US President Donald Trump would provide Ukraine with licenses to manufacture missiles for Patriot air defense systems, The Caspian Post reports, citing Anadolu Agency.

Peskov said Zelenskyy “was talking too much.”

“We, of course, very carefully monitor the information about which countries give which licenses, which weapons are supplied, and take all this into account,” Peskov said.

On diesel exports, Peskov said lifting Russia’s export ban would require more than simply meeting domestic demand. He said sanctions restricting the import of Russian diesel would also need to be removed.

“If we are talking about the fact that the international markets must be saturated with Russian diesel so that the export ban is lifted, then it is not enough to fully ensure Russian consumption, diesel stocks and open the export of diesel,” he said.

Peskov added that safe navigation in the Black Sea and unrestricted access for Russian diesel to international markets would also be necessary.

“Therefore, only a comprehensive solution,” he said.

Peskov also said Russian President Vladimir Putin and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic could hold talks on a gas supply contract.
