Russia Shoots Down 130 Ukrainian Drones

Russia’s Defence Ministry has stated that its air defence forces intercepted 130 Ukrainian drones, with 15 aimed at Moscow.

Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin added that four more drones were shot down on December 15 morning, while emergency services responded to incidents on the ground, The Caspian Post reports via foreign media.

The attacks disrupted operations at Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports, as well as several other airports in southern Russia, according to aviation watchdog Rosaviatsia.

In the Rostov region, Governor Yuri Slyusar said a drone strike damaged a power line, affecting local infrastructure. Ukrainian forces have periodically targeted Russian territory, increasingly impacting airports and critical facilities.
