Russia, Ukraine Exchange Fallen Soldiers’ Bodies in Major Humanitarian Operation

Russia has handed over the bodies of 1,000 Ukrainian soldiers to Kyiv in exchange for the remains of 31 Russian servicemen.

“The exchange took place - 31 for 1,000. Russia received the bodies of 31 of its fallen soldiers,” said Ukrainian MP Shamsail Saraliev, The Caspian Post reports via Russian media.

Ukrainian officials confirmed that identification of the returned soldiers will begin in the coming days.
