SpaceX introduced restrictions on Starlink services used by Ukraine’s armed forces overnight, Serhii Beskrestnov, adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said.
Beskrestnov, known by the callsign Flash, confirmed the restrictions, saying they affected the military-focused StarShield service package, according to RT.
He said that Ukraine’s Defense Ministry received no advance warning, resulting in the disruption of several operations.
“Obviously, this step cannot be accidental and is linked to the current political situation,” Beskrestnov said.
Earlier, Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine had stopped receiving Western intelligence on Russian missile launches.
