Three airports serving Russia's capital Moscow were closed overnight amid a reported drone attack.

Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Zhukovsky airports suspended operations around midnight, with restrictions lifted at approximately 7 a.m. (GMT+3), according to ASTRA.

The closures disrupted flights, including Turkish Airlines flight TK421 from Istanbul to Moscow, which was reportedly turned back to Türkiye shortly before landing at Vnukovo.
