Türkiye and Egypt have taken another step toward strengthening bilateral ties by signing a Letter of Intent to expand cooperation in the defense sector.

Turkish National Defense Minister Yaşar Güler and Egyptian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief and Minister of Defense and Military Production Major General Ashraf Salem Zaher presided over inter-delegation talks following their one-on-one meeting, The Caspian Post reports via the Turkish National Defense Ministry's message on X.

Following the inter-delegation talks, a Letter of Intent on Defense Cooperation was signed by both Ministers.
