Azerbaijan Extradites Tajik Citizen Wanted for Fraud

A citizen of Tajikistan wanted internationally on fraud charges has been extradited from Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan approved a request from the Tajik Prosecutor General’s Office to extradite Muhammadnido Nazarmuhammadzoda, 34, who was wanted for fraud, The Caspian Post reports via the Azerbaijani Prosecutor General’s Office.

The suspect was detained in Azerbaijan in 2025. He was handed over to the competent agencies in Tajikistan under the escort of a special convoy from the Azerbaijani Justice Ministry’s Penitentiary Service.
