Chinese investment in Tajikistan’s economy has reached nearly $6 billion, highlighting the rapidly expanding economic partnership between the two countries.
During a meeting with Chinese Premier Li Qiang, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon said trade turnover between Tajikistan and China surged by almost 46% in 2025 compared to the previous year, The Caspian Post reports via Sputnik Tajikistan.
Rahmon noted that Chinese investments in Tajikistan from 2007 to 2024 totaled nearly $6 billion, underscoring Beijing’s growing role in the Central Asian nation’s economic development.
