The five-day visit, held from October 8 to 12, coincided with two major regional gatherings - the Central Asia-Russia Summit and the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) - both hosted in the Tajik capital, The Caspian Post reports via Tajik media.

According to the official website of the President of Tajikistan, President Emomali Rahmon personally bid farewell to his Russian counterpart at Dushanbe International Airport, highlighting the warm and respectful nature of the bilateral relationship.
