Tajik President Travels to Peace Forum in Turkmenistan

Tajik President Emomali Rahmon has departed for Turkmenistan to attend the International Peace and Trust Forum.

The event is dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust, the International Day of Neutrality, and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality. Rahmon is accompanied by the foreign minister, aides, and other senior officials, The Caspian Post reports via Tajik media.

Russian President Vladimir Putin is also expected to arrive in Turkmenistan, where he will hold several bilateral meetings with foreign leaders during his two-day visit.
