Tajikistan's team has won 51 medals in mathematics at the Angkor Mathematics Competition (AMC-2025), held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
The medal tally includes 14 gold, 17 silver, 15 bronze, The Caspian Post reports via Russian media.
Additionally, five Tajik teenagers were recognized among the top performers, demonstrating exceptional scientific abilities, analytical thinking, and thorough preparation.
The competition brought together over 1,600 students from 13 Asian countries, showcasing high levels of knowledge and intellectual skill. Muhamadjon Gaforzoda, Director of the Republican Center for Talent Identification and Development, highlighted the government’s consistent support for talented youth.
The success of the Tajik team at AMC-2025 proves that the country’s young scholars can compete on par with students from leading nations on the international stage.
