Tajikistan’s Foreign Ministry has summoned Russia’s ambassador to Tajikistan, Semyon Grigoryev, following the killing of a 10-year-old Tajik citizen, Kobilzhon Aliev, in Odintsovo near Moscow.
The ministry handed the ambassador a formal note demanding an immediate, objective, and impartial investigation into the tragic incident and that all responsible parties be held fully accountable under the law, The Caspian Post reports via Tajikistan’s Foreign Ministry.
Moreover, the ministry strongly condemned the murder and expressed deep condolences to the family and relatives of the deceased schoolboy.
The incident occurred at Uspenskaya Secondary School in Gorki-2, Odintsovo on December 16 morning. A ninth-grade pupil brought a knife to the school, injured a security guard, sprayed a gas canister, and fatally stabbed the 10-year-old. The attacker was subsequently detained.
