Tajikistan is showcasing its rich culture, agriculture, and innovation at the prestigious International Green Week 2026 in Berlin, which runs from January 16 to 25.
At the national pavilion, located at the main entrance of Messe Berlin, visitors can explore a vibrant display of the country’s natural wealth, traditional agricultural products, and cultural heritage, The Caspian Post reports via Tajik media.
From packaged dried fruits, fresh produce, and honey to sweets, handicrafts, and investment opportunities in the agro-industrial sector, the pavilion offers a comprehensive glimpse into Tajikistan’s diverse economy.

The highlight was Tajikistan’s National Day, featuring traditional dishes like plov (a rice dish, essentially a layered meal of rice, meat like lamb or beef, carrots, onions, and spices) and kurutob (a mix of bread and onions in a yogurt sauce with the occasional extra meat and vegetables), live national music, and decorative displays of fruits and grains, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that drew large crowds.
Leading domestic companies, including Marmari, Shirin, Shokolad, Zardolu, Pasta Kosim, Tuti Pomir, Kopitel, and textile enterprises Guliston and Arvis, are presenting their products alongside innovations from the Center for Digitalization, Innovation, and Agrarian Skills Development.
Tajikistan’s delegation, led by Deputy Minister of Agriculture Nigina Anvari, also participated in high-level meetings with agricultural ministers from 70 countries, FAO panels, and the World Food and Agriculture Forum, discussing key topics such as food security, water management, green agriculture, digital trade, and sustainable development.
Supported by the Tajik government, presidential administration, multiple ministries, and the embassy in Germany, Tajikistan’s presence highlights its growing role in global agriculture as Green Week celebrates its 100th anniversary, cementing the event’s status as one of the world’s leading platforms for sustainable agriculture and food innovation.
