Tajikistan Strengthens Energy Ties with EU and India

Tajik Minister of Energy and Water Resources, Daler Juma, has held key meetings in Dushanbe with representatives from the European Union and India to discuss expanding cooperation in energy and water resources.

During talks with Isabelle Uritz Hernandez of the EU Delegation, both sides reviewed ongoing projects and explored opportunities to develop Tajikistan’s hydropower potential through large-scale energy infrastructure initiatives, The Caspian Post reports via Tajik media.

Juma also met with India’s Ambassador to Tajikistan Rajesh Uike to discuss investment in renewable energy, technical collaboration, staff training, and joint participation in regional and international programs. Both meetings concluded with commitments to continue dialogue and strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation.
