Azerbaijan's Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Turkmenistan's Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship have signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
The agreement was signed by Heydar Aliyev Foundation Vice-President Leyla Aliyeva and Oguljahan Atabayeva, Vice-President for Medical Activities of the Berdimuhamedov Foundation, The Caspian Post reports via local media.
The memorandum lays the groundwork for long-term cooperation and future joint projects across social, educational, cultural, and artistic fields. During the meeting, officials highlighted the importance of collaboration in education, social initiatives, and cultural projects.
The discussion also touched on the international MAMA “Mother Nature” art exhibition, organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the IDEA Public Association, which has been successfully presented in several countries to promote climate change awareness. Plans are underway to showcase the exhibition in Turkmenistan, making it a key platform for cultural exchange and environmental advocacy.
