Belarusian Ambassador Stanislav Chepurny has met with Turkmen Deputy Prime Minister Mammetkhan Chakiyev, who also co-chairs the Belarus-Turkmen Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation.
During the talks, the sides reviewed ongoing collaboration in the transport and communications sectors, assessed the current state of bilateral trade, and discussed new opportunities to expand economic cooperation, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.
They also touched on preparations for the upcoming session of the Intergovernmental Commission.
Both countries reaffirmed their interest in strengthening business ties and encouraging more direct contacts between entrepreneurs in Belarus and Turkmenistan.
