New Apartments Bring Holiday Joy to Turkmen Families

Dozens of Turkmen families have received new apartments in Ashgabat and Mary, marking a special New Year gift for citizens.

Two four-story buildings with 32 apartments each and one four-story building with 48 apartments were inaugurated in the Büzmeýin district of Ashgabat, featuring modern engineering and transport infrastructure, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.

A key-handover ceremony also took place in the Parahat-7 residential area, where apartments were given to needy citizens, including large families. Outstanding builders were awarded valuable gifts on behalf of the president of Turkmenistan.

“We are overjoyed to start the New Year in a new house. Receiving the keys to our two-room apartment is truly priceless,” said new resident Ogulabat Abdullayeva.

The celebrations included traditional greetings from Ayaz Baba and Gharpamyq, who presented gifts to children, while honorary elders conducted rituals symbolizing happiness and family well-being.
