Turkmen-Austrian Society Wraps Up 2025 Activities

The Turkmen-Austrian Society has held its final 2025 meeting at the Yyldyz Hotel, the event taking place in a hybrid format with participants from both Turkmen and Austrian sides.

Society Chair Neda Berger highlighted that the organization’s creation in 2008 was directly linked to the first official visit of Turkmenistan’s National Leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to Austria, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.

She emphasized landmark joint projects led by the Turkmen president in culture and information exchange.

Turkmen speakers noted the strong bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and Austria, built on mutual trust and respect for each other’s interests.

During the meeting, key topics were discussed to further strengthen cooperation and expand the Society’s activities, including promoting mutually beneficial economic partnerships and enhancing cultural collaboration.

The 17th anniversary of the Turkmen-Austrian Society was also celebrated, with recognition given to the contributions of several of its members.
