Turkmen Conservatory Honors German Composer with Special Concert

A special concert marking the 340th anniversary of German composer Johann Sebastian Bach has taken place in the Grand Hall of the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory.

The evening featured some of Bach’s most iconic works, along with arias and vocal pieces inspired by his music. The performances left a lasting impression on the audience, filling the hall with the composer’s timeless energy and emotional depth, The Caspian Post informs via Turkmen media.

“The philosophy of the Universe lives within Bach’s music: deep yet understandable, strict yet gentle, eternal yet always fresh,” said Svetlana Kim, senior lecturer at the Chamber Ensemble Department, who played a key role in organizing the event. She noted that every note of Bach offers “an unchanging truth” and serves as a kind of spiritual refuge for listeners.
