Turkmen Customs Delegation Visits Russia to Boost Cooperation

A delegation of the Turkmen State Customs Service, led by Deputy Chairman Muhammedgeldy Muhammedov, has paid a working visit to the Russian Federation to discuss the current state and future prospects of bilateral customs cooperation.

During the visit, the sides focused in particular on preparing and coordinating a Joint Action Plan for 2026-2028 between Russia’s Federal Customs Service and the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.

The plan envisages expanding cooperation in key areas, including digitalization, information exchange, law enforcement activities, and professional training.

As part of the program, the Turkmen delegation visited the Electronic Declaration Center of the Moscow Customs, the Russian Customs Academy, and the Canine Training Center of the Federal Customs Service of Russia, gaining firsthand insight into modern customs practices and infrastructure.
