Turkmen Embassy Celebrates 30 Years of Neutrality at Kazakh University

The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Kazakhstan has organized a special conference at the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University in Almaty to mark the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality.

The event featured a meeting with Turkmen students studying in Almaty, where participants were briefed on the outcomes of the September 19, 2025 session of the Halk Maslahaty (People's Council) of Turkmenistan, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.

Speakers highlighted the significance of the Constitutional Law on the Legal Foundations of Peace and Trust of Neutral Turkmenistan and notable events in 2025 commemorating three decades of the country’s permanent neutrality. They also discussed the upcoming International High-Level Forum.

Attendees enjoyed a video showcasing Turkmenistan’s achievements during its years of neutrality, as well as performances by Turkmen students, including songs, dances, poetry, and the national dance “Kushtdepdi.”

The conference concluded with a meeting between the embassy representative and the university administration to discuss student affairs and educational collaboration.
