In the first 11 months of 2025, a rice-processing enterprise in the Saparmyrat district of Turkmenbashi, Dashoguz province, Turkmenistan, harvested over 15,000 tons of high-quality first-grade rice, exceeding its production plan ahead of schedule.
The facility, operational since 2015, is taking coordinated measures to produce top-quality rice for seed production, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.
Protective systems have been put in place to shield the crops from frost, and rice processing continues uninterrupted in the production workshops.
The enterprise produces first- and second-grade rice, rice bran, and flour. Spanning a large area in the southern part of the district center, the facility includes a mill capable of processing 30,000 tons of rice, an elevator, and two warehouses for cleaning and storing seed rice.
Farmers’ associations specializing in rice cultivation, using modern agricultural methods, harvested around 35,000 tons of rice from 8,100 hectares, ensuring an abundant supply of this essential food product.
