Turkmen President Extends Congratulations to Tajikistan on 34 Years of Independence

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has extended his congratulations to President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on the 34th anniversary of Tajikistan’s independence.

In his message, Berdimuhamedov praised Tajikistan’s achievements, stating that the country’s socio-economic well-being has steadily improved in recent years and its role in addressing global challenges has grown significantly, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.

He also reaffirmed Turkmenistan’s commitment to strengthening bilateral ties, emphasizing the readiness to “continue making every effort to elevate Turkmen-Tajik cooperation to a new level.”

Alongside President Berdimuhamedov, congratulatory messages were sent by numerous world leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping, US President Donald Trump, the leaders of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Iran, and the UAE, as well as the monarchs of the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia, the Emperor of Japan, Pope Francis, and others.
