As part of EXPO-2025, a festive event marking Turkmenistan’s 34th Independence Day was held at the National Pavilion of Turkmenistan, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.

The main goal of the celebration was to showcase the rich cultural heritage of the Turkmen people, including their unique carpet art and traditional national costumes, while highlighting the achievements of Turkmenistan’s textile industry.

Visitors were treated to the beauty of Turkmen carpets, the symbolism of national motifs, and a presentation of modern textile production developments. Speeches emphasized the country’s success in carpet weaving and the textile sector.

A highlight of the event was the presentation of Turkmen national costumes, featuring modern designs in traditional styles created by the Fashion House of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan, which drew significant interest from attendees.
