Turkmenistan Celebrates US Independence Day with English-Language Book Fair and Peace Initiative

The State Library of Turkmenistan has recently hosted an English-language book fair celebrating US Independence Day and the International Year of Peace and Trust.

The event featured Madina Sabirova, an EducationUSA adviser, who presented educational programs available for Turkmen students seeking to study in the US, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.

Sabirova highlighted that EducationUSA offers free guidance on university selection, scholarship applications, essay writing, and exam preparation. The center, located in Ashgabat, supports students with programs like the Competitive College Club (CCC), which helps high school students prepare for US university admissions.

Drawing from her own experience as a former EducationUSA client and West Virginia University graduate, Sabirova emphasized the growing success of Turkmen students gaining admission to top US universities, including MIT, Harvard, Stanford, and Brown, often with full scholarships.

The center also provides updates on key exams such as the TOEFL, SAT, and GRE, along with personalized support for test preparation. Through the Prep for Success program, backed by the US Department of State and American Councils, EducationUSA extends these services to regions across Turkmenistan.
