Turkmenistan, EU Discuss Deepening Cooperation

Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov has met with Ambassador of the Delegation of the European Union to Turkmenistan Beata Peksa, to discuss strengthening cooperation between Turkmenistan and the EU.

The meeting focused on deepening collaboration in politics, diplomacy, trade, economy, and cultural-humanitarian relations, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.

Officials also addressed preparations for upcoming high-level visits and exchanged views on key regional and international issues.

In addition, the diplomats discussed the implementation of current and future joint projects in such areas as high technology, transport, energy, environmental protection, economics, and vocational education, highlighting the broad scope of Turkmenistan-EU collaboration.
