Turkmenistan, Iran Strengthen Ties Through Investment Talks and Upcoming International Forum

Turkmenistan and Iran are advancing their bilateral relationship through focused discussions on investment opportunities and preparations for a significant international forum.

A national conference focused on investment opportunities has been recently held in Bojnurd, the capital of Iran’s North Khorasan Province, The Caspian Post informs via Turkmen media.

The event brought together prominent figures, including Iran's Vice President for Executive Affairs Mohammad Jafar Ghaempanah, North Khorasan Governor Bahman Nouri, Turkmenistan’s ambassador to Iran, MPs and other senior officials.

A key feature of the conference was a bilateral meeting between the Turkmen ambassador and Governor Nouri, where both sides discussed enhancing interregional cooperation between Iran and Turkmenistan.

Additionally, participants drew attention to the upcoming International Forum scheduled for December in Ashgabat. The forum will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality and the Year of International Peace and Trust, highlighting its significance for regional diplomacy and collaboration.
