Turkmenistan, Japan Explore Prospects for Establishing Direct Air Service

On 13-16 January 2025, representatives of Turkmenistan Airlines visited a number of Japanese agencies.

During the visit to Japan, the Turkmenistan Airlines representatives held talks on mutually beneficial issues related to the establishment of direct air service between the two countries, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kabar news agency.

During the meetings with the aviation authorities of Japan, the possibilities of organising cargo flights between Ashgabat and Tokyo were also discussed.
